Overview

This extension extracts video URLs from X (Twitter) pages that you view and stores them locally in your browser so you can review and export them.

Data We Collect

• Video URLs: From pages you visit on x.com or twitter.com. Stored locally only.
• Analytics data: Anonymous usage statistics including page views, button clicks, and feature usage. No personal information is collected.

How We Use Data

• To show the gallery view and allow export/copy of captured URLs.
• To enable batch auto-scroll for bookmarks and channel pages.
• To understand how users interact with the extension and improve the experience.

Data Storage

Video URLs are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. We do not transmit your video URLs to any third party.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage statistics. This helps us understand which features are popular and how to improve the extension. The analytics data includes:

• Page views (popup opened, gallery opened)
• Button clicks (which buttons are used)
• Feature usage (downloads, exports, imports)
• Extension version

We do NOT collect: Video URLs, personal information, browsing history, or any content from your X/Twitter account.

Permissions Justification

• Host permissions (x.com, twitter.com, video.twimg.com): Required to detect video URLs and load media hosted on X.
• Host permissions (google-analytics.com): Required to send anonymous analytics data.
• Storage: Required to save captured URLs locally.
• Tabs: Required to open the gallery in a new tab and interact with the active tab.
• Scripting: Required to inject the content script when you start auto-scroll.

Your Rights

You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clicking the "Clear" button in the extension or by removing the extension from your browser.
